This is some really embarrassing stuff and can get really uncomfortable even for those watching the videos. But there’s also a lot to learn from the mistakes of others. With a little bit of preparation and negative examples like these it is easy not to fall in the same traps and instead prepare a really professional best man toast.
The Nervous Nelly
Here’s what to do if you don’t want to be this poor guy: It is obvious but you must prepare your speech in advance. The usual urge of nervous speakers is to put off preparation until the very last minute. Do not leave anything to chance. You have to know exactly how to start your speech and how to end it. You got to have given that speech inprivacy at least once.
The Family Planner
This guy starts off his best man toast pretty well. Some racy jokes, a decent premise but at around 2:40 he destroys everything with a joke about abortion.
The first rule for best jokes man is to always clean. It doesn’t matter how much you think the groom would appreciate crude jokes. Simply LEAVE THEM OUT.

With a little bit of preparation and the right jokes no best man has to be nervous or afraid to offend anyone. After all it is not that hard to write a good best man toast.
