Um, do you actually believe that Obama writes his own speeches? Only a fool believes that! He is reading a teleprompter! Without the machine which tells him what to say, he sounds far less eloquent, or have you never noticed that "ahs" and "ums"?

His delivery is good, but not as a speaker, but as an actor or a preacher. He has no stage fright and this has zero to do with his ability to speak (or act). It is called confidence, (actually bordering on complete arrogance), something that you fail mention.

If you define a good speech as luring people into your message, as if you are a pied piper, then you have no idea what a good speech even is. A good speech makes people think for themselves. It continues the thought process after the speech has commenced. An Obama speech fails to do that. Instead it preaches to the choir, telling people what they think they want to hear.
